The SNPEFP-CGT is a national union covering two sectors:  professional training organisations (CCN OF) and the private teaching sector (CCN EPI) as well as several apprenticeships schools (CFA) governed only by labour law.  The union is under the umbrella of the FERC, Fédération de l’Education, de la Recherche et de la Culture, which is in turn a part of the national CGT Federation.

Each sector, OF and EPI, has a coordinator, a group of negotiators for the national committees, and a contact for English speakers.

Of course the goal is to link new members with a union committee (section syndicale) in your workplace, or, in the case where one does not exist, with a local union office.
